In short

A suite you adopt, or a layer over what you have

Ivalua is a unified source-to-pay platform. Sourcing, supplier management, contracts, procurement, invoicing and payments run on one data model, and its IVA agent, launched in 2026, can validate invoices against contract terms such as SLAs, warranties and delivery terms. Aurus.ai does not ask you to move procurement into a new suite. CFO 360 reconciles transactions against their documents across the systems you already run, and covers quote-to-cash as well as procure-to-pay.

Ivalua's strengths

Where Ivalua is strong

One data model

Source-to-contract and procure-to-pay on a single platform and code base.

IVA agent

One AI agent across source-to-pay, using the platform as its toolset, with skills teams build without code.

Beyond three-way matching

Ivalua describes checking invoices against full contract terms, not only line price.

Supplier management

Onboarding, risk scorecards and performance in the same suite.

Configurability

A no-code platform used by more than 500 large organisations, by Ivalua's account.

The difference

What Aurus does differently

No suite migration

Aurus reads your contracts, purchase orders, receipts and invoices where they are and connects to Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa, NetSuite and EDI.

The sell side too

Quote-to-cash reconciled alongside procure-to-pay: underbilled rates, unbilled change orders, short-pays and discount overruns.

Leakage named in dollars

Each discrepancy valued, traced to its clause, and given an owner and a deadline.

Supplier scoring

Contract price compliance rolled into one 0 to 100 score per supplier.

Contract packages

Through Lexara, a master agreement read against its amendments and SOWs, so the price being enforced is the one currently in force.

Choosing

When to choose which

Choose Ivalua when

You are replacing or consolidating your procurement stack and want sourcing, contracts and invoicing on one platform.

Choose Aurus when

Your systems are staying where they are and you need every transaction checked against its documents, on both sides of the money.

Use both when

Ivalua runs procurement. Aurus reconciles across Ivalua, your ERP and your billing system, including revenue.

Be aware

Aurus is an earlier-stage company at design-partner stage, without Ivalua's install base or analyst coverage. Test both on your own documents.

Questions

Common questions

Is Aurus.ai an Ivalua alternative?

Not as a procurement suite. Ivalua runs sourcing, contracts and purchasing. Aurus is a reconciliation layer that works across the systems you have, including Ivalua.

Both check invoices against contracts. What is the difference?

Ivalua does it inside its own source-to-pay suite. Aurus does it across whatever systems hold your contracts and transactions, and applies the same check to quote-to-cash.

Do I need to migrate data to use Aurus?

No. Aurus reads the documents and connects to your existing systems.

Which is more accurate?

We do not publish a head-to-head comparison with Ivalua. Aurus extraction accuracy is above 99% at both the field level and the document level, measured against a lender client's own loan records across more than 10,000 mortgage loan documents. Run both on a sample of your own documents and compare what each one finds.

Where did the Ivalua details come from?

Competitor details are taken from Ivalua's public materials and published coverage as of October 2026. If something here is out of date, email hello@aurus.ai and we will correct it.
